Weekend Activities - Nov. 22-23, 2008

ALL WOMEN ARE WELCOME to attend the Women's Breakfast on Saturday, Nov 22nd from 9:00-11:00 AM at Mulberry's on Third Avenue (124, 3rd Ave N, corner of 23rd St). This is the first time we will be at Mulberry's, so come along and help us try Mulberry's good food and hospitality.

YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS (grade 9 to age 25) are invited to an exciting Synod Youth Committee event on Saturday, Nov 22nd from 2:00-8:00 PM at St. Andrew’s. “Enough Stuff: Christmas Without the Crap” will include an opportunity to watch the short film “The Story of Stuff” and learn how to be a conscious consumer and make Christmas amazing without all the “stuff”. We will also have a scavenger hunt, sing some carols, worship, and eat pizza!

EVERYONE IS WELCOME to attend a potluck supper and program here at St. Andrew's on Sunday, Nov 23rd to meet and hear Rev. Ian Shaw and Linda Shaw, who have recently returned from Guyana. The program begins at 4:00 PM followed by the potluck supper at 5:30 PM. Come and hear about the Shaws’ experience working in Guyana the past three years. In order to be environmentally friendly, please bring your own plate, cup and cutlery along with your food contribution.
