Camp Sunday & Congregational Meeting - April 26, 2009

You won't want to miss being at St. Andrew's this Sunday (April 26th) because there are lots of important things happening:

It's Camp Sunday! You're invited to come to church as if you're reading for camp... in other words... you don't need to dress up! We'll be singing some camp praise songs and hearing the experiences of some of our own Camp Christopher campers. You will also hear about some of the ways you can support our camping ministry and help it to thrive.

Following worship, there will also be an important congregational meeting with two purposes. The first is to receive a request from McKercher Drive Presbyterian Church to amalgamate with our congregation. This would include receiving their members onto our roll and their elders onto our Session.

The second purpose is to receive a proposal from our Music Committee for the purchase of a grand piano for the sanctuary. This proposal includes the use of some funds from the Memorial Fund and therefore requires congregational approval.

Plan to be at worship on Sunday, April 26th, and make a point of staying for the congregational meeting after the service.

Spring Tea, Plant & Bake Sale - Saturday, April 25, 2009

The Women's League of St. Andrew's invites one and all to the annual Spring Tea, Plant & Bake Sale on Saturday, April 25 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Come and enjoy great company, delicious home baking, beautiful flowers, and for just $3.00 you will get a scrumptious dessert and coffee or tea.

Saskatoon Native Circle Ministry: Grand Opening April 26, 2009 @ 4:00 p.m.

The Board of Saskatoon Native Circle Ministry and the Presbytery of Northern Saskatchewan invite us to celebrate at the worship dedication and grand opening of the new location for Saskatoon Native Circle Ministry at 20th St & Ave E on Sunday, April 26th at 4:00 p.m. The celebration will include worship and a feast to follow.

We can help SNCM get ready for the Grand Opening. Helpers are needed to spit ’n shine up the new place on Saturday, April 25th from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Bring your mops, buckets and elbow grease.
